We had Wall Stars in our collection some time ago, but despite their popularity we just couldn't maintain the pricepoint.  I've finally found another supplier at sensible money, and in truth the new stars are even better made than the old ones.  Like our mirrored LOVE Letters (which would actually combine so well with these stars...) you could display these as ornamental object on a flat surface, but each comes with a wall mounting hook for vertical display too. The best thing about the star motif is that it's so universal an icon that you can use these anywhere from the bedroom and bathroom to the kitchen and reception rooms downstairs.  Or in the hall.  Or on the front door!
